Test & validation
Every cycle of the test,
not just the last one.
Fatigue rigs, endurance benches and validation runs produce thousands of repetitions. Kymoscope overlays them on a common axis, follows how a metric drifts across all of them, and shows the knee before the specimen fails.
Specimen 14 · axial fatigue
Five cycles from a 240,000-cycle fatigue test overlaid by phase, their hysteresis loops, and stiffness across the whole test against a −10 % end-of-life criterion.
What you can do today
- Overlay runs and cycles
- Split a run on the channel that repeats, then compare cycles, laps or whole tests on one axis, shifted and coloured per run.
- Big files, client-side
- Hundreds of MB of bench data open in the browser; large files go out of core into DuckDB-WASM and stay sharp when you zoom.
- Math channels
- Stiffness, energy per cycle, filtered signals: formulas over your channels, recomputed as data arrives.
- Live from the bench
- Stream the controller or DAQ from Python or any WebSocket client, end-to-end encrypted, at kHz rates.
How it fits your setup
- Files
- MF4/MDF (CAN decoded with your DBC), TDMS, HDF5, MAT and CSV exports from your DAQ or controller, read in the browser.
- Live
- A short Python script next to the bench pushes column blocks; viewers open the stream in any browser.
- Your network
- Run the relay on the lab network when data must not leave the building.
In development
Coming next for test & validation
- Repetition comparison for any cycle: cut by threshold, step or edge; align by phase, angle or Ah
- Golden-cycle envelopes and “outside envelope” alarms
- Post-test reports with pass / fail criteria and approval
Try it on your own data
